Also knowing or having reason to know the other person is a minor; not a defense that the other person is not a minor. Luring a minor carries a mandatory prison of 2 years to 8.75 years. Probation IS eligible up to a lifetime term. Registration as a sex offender IS mandatory.

Luring a minor for sexual exploitation, victim under 15 is defined as offering or soliciting sexual conduct with another person. Sexual conduct with victim 12, 13, or 14 AND defendant is 18 or older or is tried as an adult is defined as intentionally or knowingly engaging in oral contact w/ penis, anus, or vulva, penetration into penis, anus, vulva or masturbatory contact w/ penis or vulva. Sexual conduct carries a mandatory prison term of 13 years to 27 years. Probation is NOT eligible for this offense. Registration as a sex offender IS mandatory for this offense.

Sexual conduct with victim under 12, if defendant is 18 or over or tried as an adult is defined as intentionally or knowingly engaging in oral contact w/ penis, anus, or vulva, penetration into penis, anus, vulva. This applies to masturbatory contact w/ penis or vulva. Sexual conduct carries a mandatory prison term of 13 years to 27 years. A life term in prison is discretionary for this offense. Probation is NOT eligible. Registration as a sex offender IS mandatory.

Sexual conduct with victim 12 or under by defendant over 18 is defined as intentionally or knowingly engaging in oral contact w/ penis, anus, or vulva, penetration into penis, anus, vulva. This DOES NOT apply to masturbatory contact w/ penis or vulva. Sexual conduct carries a mandatory prison term of a life sentenced; 35 years MUST be served. Probation is NOT eligible for this offense. Registration as a sex offender IS mandatory.

Attempted sexual conduct with victim under 15 is defined as an attempt can be a dangerous crime against children even when no child is involved and instead an actor posing as a minor is involved. Attempted sexual conduct carries a mandatory prison term of 5 years to 15 years. Probation IS eligible up to a lifetime term. Registration as a sex offender IS mandatory for this offense.
