Sexual assault victim 15 or over is defined as without consent and intentionally or knowingly engaging oral contact w/ penis, anus, or vulva; penetration into penis, anus, vulva; masturbatory contact w/ penis or vulva. The defendant must know that the sexual intercourse or sexual contact was without the consent of the victim. Sexual assault carries a mandatory prison term of 5.25 years to 28 years. Probation is NOT eligible for this offense. Registration as a sex offender IS mandatory.

Attempted sexual assault carries a mandatory prison term of 2 years to 8.75 years. Probation IS eligible up to a lifetime term. Registration as a sex offender IS mandatory.

Sexual assault carries a mandatory prison term of 13 years to 27 years. Probation is NOT eligible. Registration as a sex offender IS mandatory for this offense.

Sexual assault with victim under 12 AND defendant is 18 or older or tried as an adult is defined as without consent and intentionally or knowingly engaging in oral contact w/ penis, anus, vulva; penetration into penis, anus, vulva. The defendant must know that the sexual intercourse or sexual contact was without the consent of the victim. This does apply to masturbatory contact.Sexual assault carries a mandatory prison term of 13 years to 27 years. Defendant may also be sentenced to life; if sentenced to life, than must serve 35 years. Probation is NOT eligible. Registration as a sex offender IS mandatory.

Sexual assault with victim 12 or younger AND defendant is 18 or over is defined as without consent and intentionally or knowingly engaging in oral contact w/ penis, anus, vulva; penetration into penis, anus, vulva. The defendant must know that the sexual intercourse or sexual contact was without the consent of the victim. This does NOT apply to masturbatory contact.Sexual assault carries a mandatory prison term of a life sentence; must serve 35 years. Probation is NOT eligible. Registration as a sex offender IS mandatory.
